Intensive English Program

The Intensive English Program (IEP) is an affordable, high quality English language study program that helps ambitious students achieve college-level fluency. The college is certified to issue I-20 for F-1 students in the program.

The IEP is located on the Marietta Campus and meets 4 days a week. International F-1 students are required to enroll full-time in all 5 courses offered. Students on B1/B2 tourist visa are required to enroll in ONLY 2 courses at their choosing. All other immigrant and non-immigrant students can enroll either full-time or part-time depending on which ESL courses they want to take.

Each course is eight weeks long and meets twice a week for a total of 32 hours.

The program has 8 levels from Beginner to Advanced, and students may enter the program at any level depending on their performance in an entrance exam.

Full-time students are enrolled in 5 courses which meet twice weekly from Monday to Thursday for a total of 20 hours of attendance per week. Those courses are Grammar, Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening, and Integrated Skills.

Students who graduate our program have the necessary English-language proficiency to succeed in any college-level course.

The application process to the Intensive English Program is different from the application process to the academic programs of the college.

All applicants must submit a free online application form.

Tuition for the program is: $340 per course per 8-week session or $1,580 for all 5 courses per 8-week session. Tuition is due in full each session before classes start. No refunds are issued after classes start.

All F-1 visa applicants to the program should contact International Services for information about the necessarily additional documents.

F-1 students must provide financial funding for 4 sessions (one academic year). The current cost for one academic year for the Intensive English Program is as follows:

• Tuition and fees: $6, 320 ($1,580 each session)
• Living Expenses: 14,121 (estimated cost)
• Additional dependents: $7,000 per spouse, $6,000 per child.

IEP students are required to pay their tuition each session in full before classes began. Living expenses are only estimates. The college does not have dormitories. All students are responsible for their own housing, food, and transportation.
