Senior Citizens
Georgia residents, age 62 and older, may attend credit classes and pay no tuition. Proof of age is required for the exemption; however, textbook costs and mandatory fees are assessed. Admission is available on a space-available basis and does not apply to continuing education classes. A student wishing to be classified as “Senior Citizen” for tuition/fee assessment purposes should submit official identification to the Student Affairs Office on any campus. The “Senior Citizen” tuition rate designation must be requested by the student and will not be automatically granted. The deadline to apply for this special tuition rate is the same as the “Document Deadline” advertised by Student Affairs each term.
