Graduation

To be eligible to graduate with a certificate, diploma, or degree from Chattahoochee Technical College, a student must satisfactorily complete the program of study in which he/she is enrolled with a program grade point average of 2.0. All students must have completed a high school diploma or GED certificate before graduating from Chattahoochee Technical College.

A minimum of twenty-five percent of coursework in a particular program of study must be completed at Chattahoochee Technical College in order for a student to be granted a degree, diploma, or technical certificate of credit. Exemption exam credit is not included in the twenty-five percent.

A student’s academic record will be evaluated by Student Affairs for any and all credentials earned to determine if graduation requirements have been met. If a student’s enrollment has not been continuous since initial matriculation to the college, his/her record will be evaluated for graduation based on the catalog in effect at the time of readmission.

The student must submit a petition to graduate to Student Affairs by the end of the semester prior to the semester he/she plans to earn the award. 

CTC holds commencement each spring. A fee is required for participation in the commencement ceremony. This fee is non-refundable.
