Career Services

Career Services is responsible for helping students choose careers, develop resumes and cover letters, and assist with seeking employment. Career Services establishes relationships with employers who recruit on campus and conducts multiple career fairs and college fairs throughout the year at different campus locations.

The primary purpose of the Career Services is to make available:

I. Current job listings for employment and internship opportunities via an online eRecruiting system, SwoopLink Career Services Connection

II. Career counseling and assessment

III. Career and Skills Assessment Inventories including FOCUS, O*Net Interest Profiler and Virtual job Shadow

IV. Individual assistance with developing cover letters and resumes

V. Interview preparation

VI. Resume, interview, and job search related workshops

VII. Career development resources and handouts

VIII. Job market and salary information
