Athletics

The Department of Athletics, Recreation, and Wellness provides programming and activities to develop and enrich the students college experience. The department strives to provide leadership and athletic opportunity to all students. These programs will enhance the collegiate experience by developing skills and knowledge involved in physical and mental well-being. Programming is available to all students on multiple campuses.

Chattahoochee Technical College is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and the Georgia Junior College Athletic Association (GJCAA). Women’s and Men’s Basketball are currently the intercollegiate sports which are offered. All athletes must meet the eligibility requirements as outlined by the NJCAA and the GJCAA to qualify for participation in any sports team at CTC. Students from any campus may participate in athletics; however, many of the teams hold practices and/or games at or near the Marietta campus. CTC is a member of the Region XVII conference.
