Age

All applicants for admission must be at least 16 years of age prior to the first day of the term for which they will enroll.*

Due to safety, profession/field, or other restrictions, a higher minimum age may be required for some programs.

The following programs require students to be at least 17 years of age prior to the first day of the term for which they will enroll in the program:

                EMS Professions Diploma

                Health Information Technology AAS

                Medical Assisting AAS & Diploma

                Nursing AAS

                Occupational Therapy Assistant AAS

                Physical Therapy Assistant AAS

                Practical Nursing Diploma

                Surgical Technology Diploma

The following programs require students to be at least 18 years of age prior to the first day of the term for which they will enroll in the program:

                Clinical Laboratory Technology AAS

Commercial Truck Driving Certificate (with a recommended minimum age of 21 due to Commercial Driver's License requirements outside the state of Georgia)

                Paramedicine AAS

                Radiologic Technology AAS
