Radiology/EDDA Certificate Dental Assisting

The Dental Assisting accredited program prepares students for employment in various positions in today's dental offices. The Dental Assisting program provides learning opportunities that introduce, develop, and reinforce academic and occupational knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement. Additionally, the program provides opportunities to upgrade present knowledge and skills or retrain in dental assisting. Eligibility for enrollment within this program requires students to be enrolled within the Dental Assisting diploma program. Upon completing the program, students will receive this Radiology/EFDA Cert TCC, the Dental Assisting diploma, eligibility to earn the GA Expanded Duties certification, and eligibility to take the Dental Assisting National Board examination.
Program Length: A full-time student who has registered for classes in the Radiology/EDDA Assisting Certificate Dental Assisting can complete the Radiology/EDDA Certificate Dental Assisting in one semester
Admission Requirements: Students must meet all admission requirements of the college, have reached the age of 18 by the start of clinicals, and have obtained an Advanced Dental Assisting Certificate.
