Health Care Management Associate of Applied Science Degree

Availability: North Metro Campus

HC23

The Health Care Management Associate of Applied Science degree provides students with the programmatic preparation necessary to perform as a professional manager in a health care setting. The Health Care Management program gives students a well-rounded introduction to management of the modern medical office or health care facility. The broad responsibilities and detailed requirements of managing the revenue cycle, compliance regulations, human resources, health information, and general business processes make practice management a challenging yet rewarding profession. The Certified Physician’s Practice Manager (CPPM) credential is a logical step for those who are ready to advance their careers in physician practice management. Health Care Managers find employment in a variety of locations: medical offices, dental offices, chiropractic offices, insurance companies, outpatient clinics, and surgical centers.

Students must meet all admission requirements of the college and have reached the age of 18.
