WELD 1092 Gas Metal Arc Welding II

This second level course of Gas Metal Arc Welding provides more advanced techniques and concepts than the first level course of Gas Metal ARC Welding. This course provides advanced knowledge of theory, safety practices, equipment and techniques required for successful gas metal arc welding and qualification tests. All welding positions are used in the
evaluation of student progress toward making industrial standard welds. Topics include: GMAW safety and health practices; Advanced GMAW theory, machines, and set up; other common wire welding processes such as FCAW, MCAW; wire selection; shielded gas selection; and GMAW joints in all positions.
