Office of Career Development

The Office of Career Development is responsible for helping students choose a program of study that is the right fit for them, developing résumés and cover letters, building job readiness skills, and assist with seeking employment. The Office of Career Development establishes relationships with employers who recruit on campus and conducts multiple career fairs and related event throughout the year at the different campus locations.

 

The primary purpose of the Office of Career Development is to make available:

 

  • Current job listings for employment and internship opportunities via an online job board, Handshake.
  • Career planning and development
  • Career and Skills Assessment Inventories including TypeFocus, O*Net Interest Profiler, and Virtual Job Shadow
  • G.L.O.W. Internship Program (Growing. Learning. Observing. Working.)
  • Individual assistance with developing résumés and cover letters, and building job readiness skills
  • Interview preparation
  • Résumé, interview, and job search related workshops
  • Job market and salary information 

 

The Office of Career Development offices are located at the Marietta Campus, Building E, VECTR Center and the North Metro Campus, Building A, Suite 132R, Student Affairs/Financial Aid suite.
