RNSG 1122 Adult Health Nursing Concepts I

Adult Health Nursing Concepts I is designed to prepare the student to utilize nursing judgment in the care of adult patients with selected alterations of the gastrointestinal, musculoskeletal, integumentary, and neurological systems.  Other topics include management of care of patients with sensory disorders and endocrine disorders.  Pharmacological management of the identified diagnoses will also be discussed.  The course builds upon the concepts of professional identity, teamwork and collaboration, quality and safety, evidenced-based practice, informatics, and health teaching and health promotion.  This course includes classroom theory, skills lab/simulation, and clinical experiences.
