Career Services
Career Services is responsible for helping students choose careers that are a fit for them, developing résumés and cover letters, building job readiness skills, and assist with seeking employment. Career Services establishes relationships with employers who recruit on campus and conducts multiple career fairs and related event throughout the year at the different campus locations.
The primary purpose of Career Services is to make available:
I. Current job listings for employment and internship opportunities via an online job board, SwoopLink Career Services Connection
II. Career planning and development
III. Career and Skills Assessment Inventories including TypeFocus, O*Net Interest Profiler and Virtual job Shadow
IV. Individual assistance with developing résumés and cover letters, and building job readiness skills
V. Interview preparation
VI. Résumé, interview, and job search related workshops
VII. Career development resources and handouts
VIII. Job market and salary information
