Health Care Assistant Certificate

Program Purpose: The Health Care Assistant technical certificate of credit is designed for students preparing to enter diploma level Health Sciences programs: Practical Nursing, Medical Assisting, Medical Administrative Assistant, Emergency Services Professions (AEMT) and the Paramedic Diploma. The program also offers students the opportunity to complete a variety of occupational options.
The coursework in the following TCC curriculum may have prerequisite courses that must be completed prior to enrolling in the TCC courses. All TCCs offered at the college require a minimum of appropriate certificate/diploma placement test scores OR completion of any required learning support courses through the diploma exit point.
