Message from the President
A new academic year is upon us, and with that comes a time for new experiences at Chattahoochee Technical College. As president, I would like to extend a personal greeting to all students entering the college for 2014-2015. As we are in the midst of a growing and changing job market, your time spent at the college will provide a prime opportunity to establish and strengthen skills that will help you not only secure a high-quality career, but a higher quality of life as well.
Chattahoochee Technical College offers a variety of programs to study, and thanks to recent changes in state scholarship and grant programs, more Georgians than ever will now have access to world-class education resources. From the Arts & Sciences to Health Sciences, from Television Production Technology to Welding and Joining Technology, Chattahoochee Technical College has courses of study that will provide a solid educational foundation regardless of your academic or professional goals.
While some students are still in high school, others are returning to the classroom after decades in the workforce; for some students, all of their classes are taken online. To help meet the diverse needs of a student population, Chattahoochee Technical College provides Student Success Centers, Libraries, Career Services, and Campus Life activities among its eight campuses.
Chattahoochee Technical College faculty and staff are pleased to serve its communities and look forward to students seeing a return on their investment following their time spent at the College.
Sincerely,
Ronald Newcomb, EdD
President
